Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SeekrX (the "Service"), operated as described in our Privacy Policy. By creating a SeekrX account, you agree to these Terms.

1. What SeekrX is

SeekrX is an automated job-search assistant. Once activated, it scans job postings on a daily schedule, scores each opportunity against your profile (a "Job Fit" score and a "Career Value" score), and — for opportunities you choose to pursue — can generate a tailored resume and an application-package summary for you to use.

SeekrX does not submit job applications on your behalf. It does not contact employers, negotiate offers, or represent you in any hiring process. Every application decision, and every application itself, is yours to make and yours to submit.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a SeekrX account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscription and payment

SeekrX is a paid subscription, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Pricing, billing cycle, cancellation, and refunds are covered in our Subscription & Refunds policy, which is part of these Terms.

5. Your content and your career data

You own the resume, work history, education, skills, and other career information you provide to your Career Vault. You grant SeekrX a license to use that information solely to operate the Service for you — scoring opportunities, generating documents, and sending you the notifications you've configured. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to train third-party models. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how your data is handled and who it's shared with.

6. Automated scoring and AI assistance

Job Fit and Career Value scores are computed by a deterministic scoring engine — the same inputs always produce the same score, and no AI model decides or overrides a match score. Where AI assistance (currently, Anthropic's API) is used at all, it's limited to helping parse a pasted resume or polish the wording of a resume draft already built from your actual Career Vault. It is not permitted to invent experience, credentials, or history you haven't provided, and any AI-assisted draft is checked against your source data before it's made available to you.

7. Acceptable use

Your use of SeekrX is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violating it may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Third-party services

SeekrX relies on third-party services to operate: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and, only if you choose to connect it, Google Drive (delivery of your generated documents). Your use of those services' own products may also be subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimers

SeekrX is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that using SeekrX will result in an interview, an offer, or any particular employment outcome. Job posting data is sourced from third parties and may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate — always verify details (compensation, location, requirements) directly with the employer or posting before relying on them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeekrX's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid SeekrX in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona. These Terms do not include an arbitration clause or a class-action waiver.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new version date at the top of this page, and we may ask you to re-accept before continuing to use the Service.
