Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information SeekrX collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to your use of the SeekrX Service and is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

SeekrX collects information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash — we never store or can see your plaintext password).
• Career Vault data: resume content, work history, education, certifications, and skills you upload or enter.
• Preferences: your target role, locations, priority employers, and notification settings.
• Usage data: which opportunities you save, mark not interested, or update the status of; documents you generate.

Payment information (card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. SeekrX never receives or stores your full card number.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Run your daily job scan and compute Job Fit and Career Value scores against your profile.
• Generate tailored resumes and application-package summaries when you request them.
• Send the notifications you've opted into (in-app and/or email).
• Process payment and manage your subscription.
• Respond to support requests.

Matching scores are computed by a deterministic scoring engine — they are never decided by an AI model, and an AI model can never override or inflate a score.

3. AI assistance

When configured, SeekrX may use Anthropic's API for a narrow purpose: helping parse a pasted resume into structured fields, or polishing the wording of a resume draft that's already been built from your own Career Vault data. Only the text needed for that specific request is sent. This assistance cannot invent experience or credentials you haven't provided, and does not influence which jobs are matched to you or how they're scored.

4. Who we share data with

We share information only where it's needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Resend — delivering transactional emails (notifications, receipts, support replies).
• Google Drive — only if you explicitly connect it. SeekrX requests the narrowest available permission (Google's drive.file scope), meaning it can only see and write to files and folders it creates itself — it cannot browse, read, or list the rest of your Drive.
• Anthropic — only the specific resume text needed, and only for the assistance described above.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SeekrX or others.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and Career Vault data for as long as your account is active, so the Service keeps working the way you'd expect. If you'd like your account and data deleted, contact us at hivehq.mind@gmail.com or through our support form — this isn't yet a self-serve action in Settings, so a request to our team is currently the way to have your data removed.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe and will let you know if we become aware of an incident affecting your account.

7. Your choices

You can review and update most of your Career Vault and preference data directly from the app. You can turn email and in-app notifications on or off from Settings at any time. For anything you can't change yourself — including a full data-deletion request — contact support.

8. Children's privacy

SeekrX is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new version date at the top of this page.
